A big, BIG BLIZZARD

Christmas Day we had almost 24 hours of rain and freezing rain which melted most of our existing snow on the ground. It was miserable.

But then on December 26th, the temperature dropped to around 20 degrees and it started snowing and snowing and snowing.

At 4:00 pm I took this picture and measured the snow. We had almost 15" of snow and it was still snowing.

It is now 9:00 pm and it has finally stopped snowing. I'm afraid to measure the snow!

Have you been able to dig out yet Michelle? Or haven't you even wanted to? Just curl up in front of a arm fire with a new cookbook, marking the recipies you want to try ....

Thank you Michelle, for your lovely comments on my blog. Beautiful snow! I live in CA and I miss the snow so much! I lived in Korea, Idaho, and Utah for a while before we moved here so I really miss the snow very much, especially around this time of the year. :)
